Important Information for Dog Owners and Dog Sitters
What important information should I know as a dog owner or dog sitter?
As a dog owner or dog sitter, it's important to understand your responsibilities when it comes to caring for dogs. In Switzerland, dog owners are required by law to have insurance to protect their dogs in case of accidents, injuries or damages caused to other animals or individuals.
It's also important to remember that the responsibility for the dog's safety and well-being ultimately lies with the dog owner. This means that if something happens to the dog while it's in the care of a dog sitter, or if the dog causes damage or injury to third parties including other animals and individuals, the dog owner is held responsible.
FurryPaws shall not be held liable for any damages, accidents, losses, injuries, or legal responsibility arising out of or in connection with the use of the Platform, including but not limited to any disputes between Dog Owners, Dog Sitters or any third party involved. The Dog Owner assumes all risks associated with their dog. FurryPaws role is to provide a platform that connects dog owners with sitters, and to facilitate the booking process for both parties.
We strongly recommend that all dog owners and dog sitters familiarize themselves with the relevant laws and regulations regarding dog care and ownership in Switzerland, and that they take steps to ensure that they are in compliance with these laws.
